Legal stuff.
Club Tribe Masters Swimming is run through Club Tribe Masters 1693, Inc., a Delaware corporation formed in 2016 (“Club Tribe Inc.”). The mission of Club Tribe Inc. is to: (1) promote fitness and health in adults through Club Tribe, a USMS-registered swim team; and (2) raise funds to support the varsity swim team of The College of William & Mary, principally through an annual meet held at William & Mary — the Club Tribe Masters Classic (see info on this site). All revenues of Club Tribe Inc. are used solely to support the operations of Club Tribe and Club Tribe Inc. and to make charitable donations to eligible organizations. Neither Club Tribe nor Club Tribe Inc. is affiliated in any official capacity with The College of William & Mary, William & Mary Athletics or William & Mary Swimming.
Club Tribe Inc. is an amateur athletic organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
