2019 USMS SUMMER NATIONALS (LCM)

Club Tribe had two swimmers travel to Mission Viejo, CA last week to compete at 2019 Long Course Masters Nationals: Kyle Ahlgren and Mick Tingstrom swam very fast and represented us well.

Kyle competed in 4 “Ironman” events – the 1500 Free, the 200 Back, the 400 IM, and the 400 Free, earning LCM Masters personal best times in the 1500 free, 200 Back and 400 IM. He also put points on the board by finishing 8th, 8th and 9th, respectively in those events. 

Mick successfully battled an impossibly deep field in the highly competitive 50-54 age group. He swam three events, and went three Masters best times (50 Free, 100 Free, 50 Fly). He also came away with some hardware of his own with an 8th pace finish in the 50 Fly (29.69). Mick has been an incredible addition to this team.
